If you haven't heard the news we finally signed with Third Man records to release Teds music. We are thrilled to announce this new collaboration which will bring Teds previously unreleased catalog of to the fans. The 1st release is a reissue of Teds album ( The Om album) available today in standard black and limited edition green vinyl (already sold out according to the Third Man website). In addition we have released 4 previously unreleased tracks of Teds on Spotify and this previously unseen video of Teds we've dubbed the electric twins. Enjoy and thank you to the fans. We received this lovely cover of It's So Easy from Sam P Well now that we have time I can share these videos from the November 2018 release party at Trinosophes...there are 6 altogether...most are self explanatory and from the album but this little gem needs a bit of explanation. It was previously released in 1970 on a locally produced compilation album called the Detroit Folk Scene. We think Detroit favorite Ron Coden does a terrific job. Special thanks to Mike Dutkewych for recording these performances. Up next we have this wonderful version by the band Okkervil River. Formed in Austin, Texas in 1998, the band takes its name from a short story by Russian author Tatyana Tolstaya set on the river in St. Petersburg. Thank you for visiting our blog. The cover for this week is this just discovered heartfelt rendition of Baby, Where You Are by actress/singer Lola Kirke with Wyndham. Welcome to the cover of the week. We plan to add covers that we feel remain faithful to Teds music. Our 2nd spotlight is on the another great cover of Teds song "I'll Find A way" by The Blind Boys of Alabama feat. Shara Worden of My Brightest Diamond. Have you seen a fantastic cover of Teds songs? Send us a link through the contact form and we may feature it in the future.
